Participating in activities outside of class is the simplest and most effective method. For example, if you love playing badminton, join an intramural team with the rest of the cute girls and guys. Passionate about volunteering? Start a community group for your soulmate to sign on to.

Hang out at the local coffee shop, check out a bookstore or antique place, or attend a festival or fair. You might just meet alumni or a local that you can spend some off-campus time with. What do you have to lose but a night outside your dorm room? You could be surprised at what some singles fun could do. I think we can all admit that we have a wish-list when it comes to dating.

If your list includes some specifics, think about how you can location target these people. Go to the gym during busier times, plan your study sessions out in the open at the library, attend cultural talks or museum trips.

Online dating is still controversial, and we can understand why. While we generally suggest avoiding those apps that are less classy, there are still more reputable ways to meet a guy or a girl online.
